Insights... More Indepth Than You Think!

If you are an administrator of a fan page with over 30 fans, you may have seen the link for "Insights." Insights are the analytic of your facebook page- the "who visits your page and what are they looking at." From the insights section of your fan page, you can see a few top level insights. From monitoring your page you see your page's likes and comments and think you are doing ok, right? Well if you are happy with those numbers, you are going to dance the gig after you look into insights. I bet you are doing better than you think!

Insights have evolved over the last two years. You can see how many active daily and monthly users you have on your page, daily "Likes," total "Likes," post views and feedback, the dreaded "Unlikes," demographics, page views, tab views, and media consumption.

Sounds cool. How do I get there?

From you Fan Page's home page click on the "SEE ALL" link under the Insights section, just under the profile photo, edit links, and the summary. The links below will give you a quick look at the actual insight for the page www.facebook.com/GetWhiteCity, the official page for the City of White City, Kansas.

This is just a small explanation of how insights can help you with your social media efforts. It is a great way to track return of investment for you time and energy with facebook and other components of your marketing efforts! As always, if you have any questions about social media marketing. Please post your questions to our facebook page!

Thanks- Michelle

User Activity
Monthly Active users is a very important number. This the the number of your fans that regularly consume your page's content. Your page will most likely be at the top of that consumer/fan's mind. You can also see what media the user consumes, prefers, and shares!
Demographics for you Facebook Fan Page
Who visits your page the most? This great feature lets you see the the age of your page's fans and if they are male or female.

Daily Story Feedback
Daily Story Feedback. See how many people have been exposed to your content, (impressions) and the feedback from those fans. Make note of the items that get a high feedback, and try them again in the future. The best pages are engaging. This is a great way to track that!
