Hey All! Yesterday I tried out for the Wichita Wild Dance Team. The Wild is the new Arena FB Team in Wichita... AND I MADE THE TEAM! :D
We have our first meeting in a few weeks and then they will have some pix online. How Exciting! :D

Lila's Witching Service
Yes... tis the season... Halloween. My favorite season holiday of the year. AND to make this Halloween even more memoriable, I have met my downstairs neighbor, Lila, the WITCH, a very nice spunky lady. We talked some just minutes ago.
I went out to my car to get my hammer for some home... er.. apt decorating, and was surprised to hear someone talking to me!
"Are you my neighbor?" Lila asked.
"Well, that depends on where you live," I replied.
As it turns out lila live in the apartment just below me. I was afraid she was going to ask me to keep it quiet. But she asked if her TV was to loud for me! We talked for a spell and I found out that she is 77, is a single gal with a boyfriend, she enjoys gardening and moved from a town southeast of wichita and had 5 acres of flowers and waterfalls. I shared some of my story with her and asked for for her name again, because I am not a good listener!
"Let me give you my card," she said. She had just gotten back from somewhere or something I didn't understand but it sparked something in my memory. "Yes, I'm a witch." she confirmed. Here is my card. 'Lila' Witching Service, Your Friendly Water Well Dowser'.
(My mom is gonna shit! Was the only thing going thru my mind... as well as... is this really happening?)
We continued our conversation for a while. And wished eachother a good night, and here I am. Sharing this event with all of you. :) 'Tis the season, I guess and to each our own. She is a very friendly woman, and so far the nicest most sincere person I've met in my complex... or so it seems for now!

Bat Country
Ok.... so Thursday night i was supposed to be figuring my checkbook... boring... so i am up here on the computer... of course on myspace. When what do i hear? Something in the hallway. I think it is Alex, my roommate's cat. "Alex, what are you doing out there? Taking a dump?" No answer from alex... so i continue to hear the commotion... and get up to investigate. When i see some sort of shadow aboot eye level... WHAT?
Cat's don't make shadows five foot off the ground? So i get closer and look up.. (up for a cat? huh?) and see something FLYING in the hallway! I'm thinking OMFG there is a BIRD in here... it lands on the casing of the bathroom door.... yeah... no bird... it's a freaking BAT!
I shut the door and called as many people as i could to help me mentally prepare for my treck through that dark hallway and to my room. My plan was to SHUT the door and go to bed!
OK, long story short... the bat was already down stairs and he slept on the window sill and i went to bed. My Roommate saved us when he got home he PHYSICALLY picked it up and threw it outside. What a Brave, Brave Soul he is!
